Covid-19 response information

As Covid-19 continues to be a defining part of our landscape, we are all feeling the absence of in-person (and unmasked) community. Some maybe more fiercely than others, but we can’t deny the feeling that something intrinsic to our well being is missing.

The good news is that change IS coming. Here in Massachusetts, we can already get together in smaller groups (perfect for a Community Group meeting or a couple of families to hang out). In fact, as part of the reopening process that Governor Baker has set forth for the state, churches can now operate at 40% capacity.

So what does that mean for gathering in the larger body for Sunday morning worship? Well, just for example, we want everyone to feel safe. Hand sanitizer, masks, and socially distanced seating will of course be necessary. And, we don’t want to leave anyone out. That means we need technology in place, and people to run it, so we can livestream for those who aren’t yet comfortable gathering. Also, we want to maintain grace for those with different viewpoints, remembering that all of us have unique needs and perspectives. And finally, we need to be willing to consider that it could still be awhile before we can responsibly open up our building because of these and many other factors not listed here.

So for the time being, we continue to meet Sundays at 10am and Tuesdays at 7:30pm, both via Zoom. The meeting ID for both meetings, every week, is 264 966 3673. Join us (and, in smaller in-person groups, join each other!) as we gather to worship and pray together.

Just note, the best way to reach us while our offices are closed is still via e-mail through our Contact Page. Once we see your message, we’ll be right back in touch by phone or email (just indicate your preference).

Remember, you don’t need to walk through this alone. The Church is here and it is active and ready to serve, to the glory of God.
